You must have a Java-enabled mobile device to use the Midprofile for eBay software. Refer to the Installation Guide for device-specific guidelines. There are signed and unsigned versions available. We will be adding new carrier signed versions where separate signing is required. Always check first to see if there is a signed JAD for your wireless carrier and if there is, use that version. The generic signed version uses a Verisign code signing certificate.
You can download Midprofile for eBay from http://www.midprofile.com/ota/eb using either of the following procedures:
Over the Air (OTA)
Using your phone’s browser or using the Download menu choice within the Java application manager installed on your mobile, download the Signed or Unsigned JAD file from the Download menu at the above link. Typically, you would first download and install the signed version, then if that fails to install, try the unsigned JAD.
Download to PC
Download as described above for OTA but download to your PC instead. You should download either the signed or unsigned ZIP file, unzip on your PC then transfer to the phone using USB cable, Infrared or Bluetooth as provided in your mobile phone or PDA's user manual.
